MKJB Won Again

Arch Competition TrophyMKJB once again won this year Arch Competition in conjunction with His Majesty Birthday, under the Government Secondary School / Colleges category for the Belait District. This is the third consecutive year that the college won the competition and will permanently hold the Challenge Trophy. The Prize presentation was held at Dewan Bandaran Kuala Belait on 4 August 2007. Eight categories were contested for this year 61st HM Birthday. MKJB is very proud for the team and congratulate them for their hard work and effort.

 

The MKJB Team was headed by Awg Abd Hazid Hj Abu Bakar with the winning team members of: Cikgu Bahrin, Hj Dahlan, Awg Ali Ahmad, Awg Mahari, Lo Yun Fook, Awg Alikhan, Awg Rahman Abdul, Awg Nizam, Awg Abd Halim, Dyg Hasimah, Dyg Nurhafizah, Dyg Rohaydah, Dyg Hjh Masni, Dyg Aminah and Dyg Nuruljanah.

Selection for MKJB Sport Representatives

Sports Selection 1MKJB is currently having a selection process to choose the college representatives for the upcoming first ever National Track and Field Competition for the institutions under the Department of Technical Education (DTE), scheduled on November 2007. The selection was organized by the Co-Curricular Department of MKJB headed by Cikgu Said, at the Mumong Sports Kompleks since early August 2007. The students who will be accepted will further be given adequate training in order for them to be prepared for the upcoming competition.

MKJB Welcomes New Student

Maktab Kejuruteraan Jefri Bolkiah, Kuala Belait welcomes the new students for the 2007/2008 sessions for the PND and ND courses. The Orientation week was held from 4 July 2007 till 7 July 2007. It was officially opened by the Chief Guest, Yang Mulia Awang Haji Ibrahim Bin Haji Mohd Ali, Senior Special Duties Officer, Executive Head of Industry InfoCommunication Technology from the Ministry of Communication. In conjunction with the orientation week, a “Menapung Tawar” or blessing ceremony for the college’s new Mini Bus was also officially launched by the Chief Guest.
